John Landis, the director of classics like Animal House and An American Werewolf in London, has teamed with his son, Max, for an original script called Chronicle, reports Heat Vision.
The film, to be shot in faux-documentary style with a handheld camera by first-time director Josh Trank, tells the story of three Portland teenagers who develop superpowers.
John Landis’ most recent directorial effort, Burke and Hare, stars Simon Pegg and Andy Serkis and, though currently unscheduled, should see release in the near future.
