This summer, Wolverine of the X-Men battles the undead in his very own Blood Hunt tie-in series.
Wolverine: Blood Hunt launches early this coming June. The four-issue limited series hails from writer Tom Waltz and artist Juan José Ryp. It marks the Marvel Comics debut of Waltz, who is known for his work on IDW Publishing’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin. Marvel notes that “[i]n addition to spinning directly out of BLOOD HUNT,” Waltz and Ryp’s series will “conclude Logan’s private war against the vampire nation, a storyline that’s been heating up over the last few years in the pages of Benjamin Percy’s epic WOLVERINE run.”

What is Wolverine: Blood Hunt about?
An official synopsis for Wolverine: Blood Hunt reads as follows: “Logan fights back the darkness! Wolverine’s the best there is at what he does — and today, fighting vampires is going to have to top that list! As the sky darkens across the globe and vampires reign, what hidden plot puts Logan directly in their crosshairs? Hint: It’s like nothing you’ve seen in BLOOD HUNT yet! Be there as the plot (and blood!) thickens when a secret vampire sect enacts a startling strategy that’ll take Logan — and the world — to the brink! Guest-starring some surprise characters from Wolverine’s past and the return of Louise of the Nightguard!”

Marvel’s lineup of Blood Hunt tie-in series is complete
The main narrative of Blood Hunt will unfold in a five-issue limited series by Jed MacKay and Pepe Larraz — which launches Wednesday, May 1. However, the vampire-centric saga will also play out in a number of tie-in comics.
Wolverine: Blood Hunt is eighth and final tie-in limited series Marvel has announced — following Black Panther: Blood Hunt (launching May 29), Union Jack the Ripper: Blood Hunt (launching May 15), Blood Hunters (launching May 8), Dracula: Blood Hunt (launching May 8), Midnight Sons: Blood Hunt (launching May 29), Strange Academy: Blood Hunt (launching May 8), and Amazing Spider-Man: Blood Hunt (launching May 15).
That said, Marvel is also planning six tie-in one-shots, as well as tie-in issues of seven ongoing series. The publisher will continue to announce new Blood Hunt comics through next week. Check out the current checklist below:
