Arcade1up Working On New Marvel and Star Wars Arcade Game Cabinets

Arcade1up Reveals New Marvel and Star Wars Arcade Cabinets

Update: Arcade1up has not officially confirmed the Marvel vs. Capcom unit just yet, so it’s in a “wait and see” status at the moment.

Original Story: At the CES, Arcade1up is showing off its plans for more “arcade to home” titles on the horizon. The new games also include titles that should excite Marvel and Star Wars fans.

Following last year’s Marvel Super Heroes, Arcade1up appears to have a new arcade game cabinet that features Marvel vs. Capcom and X-Men vs. Street Fighter. Both of these are classics from Capcom’s fighting library. Unfortunately, neither Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter nor Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes appear to be a part of that release.

Arcade1up is also revisiting its Atari Star Wars cabinet with a new model. This version will be a deluxe-sized sit-down version, based on the image from Twitter below. The regular Star Wars machine is available now for $499.

Additionally, Arcade1up is bringing back the iconic sports favorite NBA Jam, complete with online connectivity.  Sega will get two new games featuring Frogger, Shinobi and Altered Beast. Finally, Arcade1up will take on pinball with a new digital table featuring various arcade classics.
