In March 2023, The Hollywood Reporter said Sandrine Holt would be taking over the role of Vanessa Fisk, the wife of Wilson Fisk/Kingpin (played by Vincent D’Onofrio), in the forthcoming MCU series. Daredevil: Born Again then went through a creative rehaul during the Writers Guild of America and Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) strikes and it now remains unclear if Holt still appears in the series.
Daredevil: Born Again officially wrapped filming last week. The series does not have an official release date from Marvel at this time, though it’s expected to premiere on Disney+ sometime in 2025.
Who else stars in Daredevil: Born Again?
Daredevil: Born Again serves as a continuation of Netflix’s Daredevil series, which ran for three seasons. Charlie Cox will once again reprise his role as Matt Murdock/Daredevil after the character recently appeared in 2022’s She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and 2024’s Echo.
In addition to Cox and D’Onofrio, Daredevil: Born Again sees Jon Bernthal return as Frank Castle/The Punisher, Wilson Bethel as Benjamin “Dex” Pointdexter/Bullseye, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, and Elden Henson as Franklin “Foggy” Nelson.
Margarita Levieva, Michael Gandolfini, Nikki M. James, Genneya Walton, Clark Johnson, Zabryna Guevara, Michael Gaston, Lou Taylor Pucci, and more are also appearing in the show.
Plot details for Daredevil: Born Again remain under wraps at this time. The series comes from Dario Scardapane, while Moon Knight’s Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead serve as lead directors.
The first three seasons of Daredevil are now streaming on Disney+.
