Fans got a glimpse of Quinn as Johnny Storm, the Human Torch, in the set photos that were posted on X (formerly Twitter).

The user Fantastic Four Updates shared two images on X and wrote, “Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/The Human Torch on the set of ‘THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS’.” In one of the photos, Quinn is seen standing at a coastline and looking at the waves in his whole Human Torch get-up. In the next image, fans can also see Quinn walking toward some crew members who are visible on the scene.

Quinn’s costume from The Fantastic Four: First Steps is an ode to the one that his character wears in the comics as well.

This movie is set in the 1960s and also features Pedro Pascal as Mr. Fantastic, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing, and Vanessa Kirby as Invisible Woman.

Talking about his role as Human Torch on Entertainment Weekly in May 2024, Quinn said that he was a fan of “Chris Evans’s performance as Johnny in the previous films.” The actor further stated, “It felt like this would be a really exciting opportunity.” He added that he would try to make this version of Human Torch his own, a different one from Evans’ version, saying, “It’s big boots.”
