After being stuck in limbo for the last several months thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, the Arrowverse is finally back on the air, with Batwoman three episodes into its new season and The Flash set to return next month. However, it looks like The CW is already thinking about the future. According to The Hollywood Reporter, The CW has given early renewals to several shows for the 2021-22 season. And both Batwoman and The Flash made the cut. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow was also renewed.
Recently, The CW premiered a new trailer for The Flash’s upcoming seventh season. Following last year’s epic cliffhanger, the new episodes will pit Barry against the new Mirror Master as he rushes to free his wife, Iris, from the Mirrorverse. Meanwhile, Javicia Leslie is still settling into her role as Ryan Wilder, who just took over for Ruby Rose’s Kate Kane as the new Batwoman.

Additionally, The CW has made some changes to Superman & Lois, which drops later this month. The network originally planned for the show’s inaugural season to run for 13 episodes. But now the network has added two more episodes to this order, bringing its total count to 15 episodes. The new series features Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch reprising the roles they originated on Supergirl and in the Arrowverse crossovers. The show will kick off with a 90-minute premiere episode on Tuesday, February 23.
The next episode of Batwoman premieres on Sunday, February 14 on The CW. The network will debut The Flash’s seventh season on March 2.
