With only three episodes left, Star Trek: Discovery is speeding towards the conclusion of its third season. Now, CBS All Access has debuted a shiny new set of promotional photos for the upcoming eleventh episode. Recently, the story saw Georgiou leaving the USS Discovery crew following the encounter with the Guardian of Forever in the latest two-part episode. Apparently, her time in the prime universe has come to an end after passing the Guardian’s test and proving that her time on the USS Discovery crew had changed her. Before leaving, she urged Michael Burnham to fulfill her destiny as she is suited for the captain’s chair. But the show must go on, and next week the crew will return to investigate the origins of the mysterious cataclysm known as the Burn, which had a profound impact on the 32nd century.

CBS All Access has yet to announce the name of the director who worked on the episode written by Anne Cofell Saunders. The official synopsis of “Su’Kal” reads:
“Discovery ventures to the Verubin Nebula, where Burnham, Saru, and Culber make a shocking realization about the origin of the Burn as the rest of the crew faces an unexpected threat.”
The upcoming Star Trek: Discovery Episode 3.11 will hit CBS All Access on Thursday, Dec. 24.
