In just three weeks, a brand new adaptation of Stephen King’s post-apocalyptic novel The Stand will hit CBS All Access. The streaming service is going full speed ahead to promote the series, and it has released an official poster for the show. It features Alexander Skarsgård’s Randall Flagg facing Whoopi Goldberg’s Mother Abigail and a handful of survivors. The two teams are standing on a desert road through the wasteland, following the outbreak of a deadly virus. Expect more promotional materials to hit the Internet over the next few days.

In the meantime, it looks like Stephen King himself is promoting the upcoming adaptation on his socials. The author will serve as executive producer of the series. Besides Skarsgård and Goldberg, the cast of The Stand will also feature James Marsden as Stu Redman, Greg Kinnear as Glen Bateman, Ezra Miller as Trashcan Man, and Amber Heard as Nadine Cross, among others. Heard’s inclusion came before the resolution of the recent court case involving her ex, Johnny Depp, but remains a point of controversy with some fans.
