NECA Debuts The Last of Us Part II Action Figures With a 2-Pack

In celebration of Halloween month, NECA has showcased new stuff every single day of October on social media. Sometimes they just showed a look at new packaging. Others, an entirely new figure. But they saved one of the biggest for near-last. Kicking off a new line of The Last of Us Part II action figures, it’s a Joel and Ellie two-pack. And in order for this duo to survive their post-apocalypse landscape, they come loaded with weaponry.

In The Last of Us Part II, Ellie sets out for revenge against the Washington Liberation Front. All while still navigating a world populated by fungus-infected “clickers” who behave like cannibalistic zombies. Joel’s role in all this is, frankly, a bit of a spoiler to anyone not far into the game yet. But the figure set is for fans of the first game too. And no doubt related to the upcoming TV miniseries.

This “Ultimate” two-figure set, now available for preorder, will retail for $74.99. It’s due in March, probably right around the time the Pedro Pascal-starring HBO series arrives. Per its description, “Each action figure has over 30 points of articulation and comes with screen-accurate accessories: include axe, machetes, rifles, knives, pistols, backpack and bow and arrows, plus interchangeable hands. Collector-friendly window box packaging with dual front opening flap.”
