For the past two years, The Mandalorian has reinvigorated interest in the Star Wars franchise. Mando, Baby Yoda/Grogu, Cara Dune, Boba Fett, and the live-action debuts of Bo-Katan Kryze and Ahsoka Tano have also been fan favorites. Now, some of these Mandalorian characters may be heading to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland and Walt Disney World.
Via Collider, Jim Hill Media is reporting that The Mandalorian, The Child/Grogu, and “characters like Boba Fett and Bo Katan” may soon be making appearances at Galaxy’s Edge’s Black Spire Outpost. Collider suggests that these characters “would interact and mingle with guests.”
Additionally, Jim Hill indicated that Kylo Ren’s ship could be replaced by Mando’s ship. the Razor Crest. Regardless of the ship’s destruction in The Mandalorian season 2, the Razor Crest was also a key part of the show.

Collider speculates that the introduction of The Mandalorian‘s key characters could eventually lead to a live stunt show at Galaxy’s Edge.
Walt Disney World’s Galaxy’s Edge is currently open. However, Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge remains closed due to the ongoing pandemic. So any changes to the west coast Galaxy’s Edge may come further down the line. Any changes will likely be coming to Florida’s park first.
