Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League developer Rocksteady Studios has issued a statement regarding the story leaks that recently surfaced online.
“We’re looking forward to players experiencing the story we’ve crafted in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League once the game launches in the new year. We hope everyone can play the game and feel each moment of the narrative for themselves,” the statement, posted on X (formerly Twitter), reads. “It is very disappointing to see details being shared ahead of the game’s release, so we can only urge you to try to avoid spoilers where you can. And please try not to impact the enjoyment of other players by posting spoilers,” it continues. “We look forward to seeing all of you in Metropolis on 02-02-24.”
What is Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League about?
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is an action-adventure third-person shooter. The upcoming title is set in the same universe as Rocksteady‘s Batman: Arkham series of games. More specifically, it takes place several years after the events of 2015’s Batman: Arkham Knight.
In Kill the Justice League, the villainous Brainiac has brainwashed the members of DC’s premier superhero team into doing his evil bidding. In turn, Amanda Waller assembles Task Force X to take them down. Players can take control of Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, or King Shark as they step up to the likes of Green Lantern, the Flash, Batman, and Superman.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League releases on February 2, 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
