Today is the big day when the Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy video game finally hits the stores. To celebrate the occasion, Marvel has debuted a new promo. The video once again presents some of the most fantastic features in the game, including the possibility for players to explore, fight, and pick between more than 40 in-game outfits. Fans also got a closer look at Adam Warlock and some other villains the cosmic ensemble will fight. It also seems that the story will take a different route from the one in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, especially for Star-Lord. Unlike the live-action Peter Quill, it seems that this iteration of the Guardians leader prefers his music from the ’80s. And he’s rockin’ it, for sure.

The official synopsis reads:
“Fire up Star-Lord’s jet boots for a wild ride across the cosmos in this third-person action-adventure game, a fresh take on Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is already available on all major gaming platforms.
