It appears that Fornite is about to launch a new crossover with a significant franchise. Recently, Epic Games released a teaser on its socials where Jonesy deals with a dusty, old computer that can put him in touch with whatever target he is looking for. Too bad that the Fortnite character gets sucked into the computer a few moments after turning it on. If the story sounds familiar to you is because the upcoming crossover will involve Tron. Perhaps some of the characters from 1982’s sci-fi adventure and its sequel will step across the Zero Point in a few days. You can check the Tron teaser here below. (Note the “MCP” reference.)

In the meantime, some leaks have already made their way online. Apparently, Fortnite players will get the chance to step into the Tron world thanks to a portal. You can check some leaks here below.

But while Disney is breathing new life into the franchise, Tron fans will still have to wait for a while to potentially see a third movie. Last year, Tron: Legacy director Joseph Kosinski rekindled the fans’ hope after suggesting that there might be a chance for Tron 3 to happen.
You can play Fortnite on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, as well as Nintendo Switch, and PC. Epic Games has yet to reveal the official debut date for the Tron crossover.
