Daredevil: Born Again Footage Offers Up First Look at Muse

New Daredevil: Born Again footage was released as part of a video reel on upcoming Disney+ projects, and gave us our first look at Muse in the upcoming series.

This week, Disney released a new trailer for the many Marvel Cinematic Universe projects it has coming out on Disney+ in 2025. Among them, very brief new footage of Daredevil: Born Again was shown off, and in it, fans spotted Muse, who figures to be one of the primary antagonists in the new series.

The look of Muse is just a quick glimpse, but does show the character as he appears in the comics, wearing a large beanie and dressed in a white costume with red, blood-like paint leading from its eyes down to his chest.

Check out the look for Muse below:

Who is Muse?

In the world of Marvel Comics, Muse is a serial killer that believes his crimes are part of his “art,” and often converts the crime scenes and actions into street art in New York City. The character is relatively new to the world of Marvel, having only just made his first appearance in 2016, and was created by writer Charles Soule and artist Ron Garney.

Daredevil: Born Again hails from showrunner Dario Scardapane and directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead. The upcoming MCU revival will also feature return of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle/ Punisher, and Wilson Bethel as Benjamin Poindexter/ Bullseye. Joining them are franchise newcomers Sandrine Holt, Michael Gandolfini, Margarita Levieva, Michael Gaston, Nikki M. James, Arty Froushan, and Genneya Walton.

Both Cox and D’Onofrio already made their Marvel Cinematic Universe debuts in 2021, with Kingpin guest-starring in the Hawkeye series and Matt Murdock/Daredevil briefly appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home. In 2022, Cox also had a two-episode appearance on She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, where he showed off a lighter side of the hero. Most recently, Cox and D’Onofrio starred in the Alaqua Cox-led miniseries Echo.
