After two months of waiting, fans now know when the back half of Invincible Season 2 will premiere on Prime Video.
The official X (formerly Twitter) account for Invincible recently shared a 15-second clip from the popular adult animated series, which had been edited to reveal that Season 2 will continue with new episodes on March 14, 2024.
The video was accompanied by the following caption: “In the second half of Season 2, I’m sure Mark goes back to college, reads his father’s books, and has nothing eventful happen to him or his family…”

Based on the Image Comics series of the same name, Invincible centers around Mark Grayson. It follows the half-human teenage son of the world’s greatest superhero, Omni-Man, as he develops powers similar to his father and learns how to become a superhero.
Invincible Season 1 was released on Prime Video in March and April of 2021, while the first four episodes of Season 2 dropped in November 2023. The second season continues to focus on the complicated father-son relationship between Omni-Man and Invincible while introducing new supervillains like Angstrom Levy (Sterling K. Brown), who can create portals to other dimensions.
Invincible already working on Season 3
Invincible has already been renewed for a third season. In October 2023, co-creator Robert Kirkman shared that “Season 3 is very far along.” He also teased that fans can expect to see more Walking Dead alums “popping into Invincible at some point.” Steven Yeun, who voices the title hero in Invincible, previously portrayed Glenn Rhee in the first six seasons of AMC’s The Walking Dead.
