After being badly burned by Darth Vader in the previous episode, Obi-Wan is placed in bacta tank so he can heal. However, he is haunted by visions of Vader as Anakin Skywalker while the real Vader rests in his own bacta tank. Unable to take any more, Obi-Wan emerges from the tank before he has completely recovered. But when Obi-Wan learns that Leia has been taken, he refuses to go back and let the bacta heal him. Tala explains that he is in the headquarters of the underground group led by Roken.
At first, Roken is reluctant to lend Obi-Wan any assets for an attempt to rescue Leia. He also explains his grudge against the Empire by revealing that his wife was either a Jedi or Force-sensitive before she was murdered by Inquisitors. Roken eventually relents, especially after Tala volunteers to accompany Obi-Wan even if her cover has already been blown. A short time later, Tala bluffs her way inside the fortress on Nur while Obi-Wan sneaks in from beneath.

Meanwhile, Reva claims that Obi-Wan is dead and she tries to convince Leia that no one is coming for her. Reva also manhandles Leia’s droid, Lola, while attempting to get Leia to give up any information she has about Roken’s network. Tala’s cover comes close to being exposed, but she subdues an Imperial agent who questions her presence. As Obi-Wan goes deeper into the fortress, he discovers that it is a tomb for Jedi who look like they have been preserved in amber. And Leia is slated to be the next victim after refusing to help Reva.
To provide a distraction, Tala summons Reva and claims that she has info to share about Roken’s underground network. Obi-Wan uses the opportunity to free Leia and eventually reunite with Tala. But before the trio can escape, Reva and her troopers confront them. Thankfully, the arrival of two pilots from Roken’s group allows them to get away. However, Reva manages to murder one of the pilots as he retreats. A short time later, Vader arrives and prepares to execute Reva for her failure. But she reveals that there is a tracking device with Obi-Wan and Leia that will allow the Empire to hunt them down. On a shuttle, Leia holds Obi-Wan’s hand to comfort him, but they are both unaware that the tracker is in Lola and the droid has been compromised.
