The Bad Batch Season 2 Trailer Debuts At Star Wars Celebration

Although the Clone Wars are over, there’s no time to rest for Clone Force 99. The team was unbeaten in battle during the fight with the Separatists, but they haven’t fully grasped that there’s no room for them in a galaxy controlled by the Empire. On the final day of Star Wars Celebration, Lucasfilm dropped the first season 2 trailer for Star Wars: The Bad Batch. And it looks like the band of clone brothers (and one sister) are upgrading their armor.

Within the trailer, Trandoshan Cid (Rhea Perlman) tries to entice the team to take on a job that could give them freedom and financial security. But as far as Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, Echo, and Omega are concerned, they’re already free. They also feel that they can help their clone siblings and others who need aid. Intriguingly, it looks like Clone Force 99 will encounter a fugitive Wookiee Padawan. It also looks like the Emperor himself will have a presence on the show this season.

Dee Bradley Baker headlines the series as the voices for every member of Clone Force 99, including their estranged clone brother, Crosshair. Michelle Ang co-stars as Omega, the only female clone of the late Jango Fett.

Star Wars: The Bad Batch season 2 will premiere this fall on Disney+. Beyond that, we don’t have a specific date for the premiere yet.
