Superman & Lois Casts Ian Bohen For Season 2

The season finale of Superman & Lois aired less than two months ago. Regardless, season 2 is already in full swing, and the show has just revealed its first new addition to the cast. According to Deadline, Ian Bohen will appear in a “multi-episode arc” when the series returns on The CW.

Bohen will play Lt. Mitch Anderson, a man who is described as the “new sheriff in town” at the Department of Defense. He also splits his worldview into two kinds of people: “those you serve and those who serve you.” Because Tyler Hoechlin’s Clark Kent/Superman doesn’t fit into either category, viewers can expect their characters to have a rocky relationship, with Anderson trying to bring the Man of Steel under his command. Good luck with that, soldier boy.

Bohen is currently a series regular on Paramount+’s Yellowstone. He also famously appeared alongside Hoechlin on MTV’s Teen Wolf series. On the big screen, Bohen has appeared in Sicario: Day of the Soldado and Wind River. He previously visited the DC Universe in The Dark Knight Rises, where he had a role as a Gotham City police officer.

Production on Superman & Lois season 2 began last month. No other new actors have been announced yet. However, we do know that Sofia Hasmik has been promoted to series regular after recurring throughout the series’ first season.

Superman & Lois will return as part of The CW’s mid-season slate in early 2022.
