There’s a lot of work that goes into making Amazon’s The Boys. And while production ramps up on season 3, the series’ producers are looking to give fans a closer look at the previous season. Starting this week, viewers can take a deep dive into The Boys season 2 with a new eight-episode podcast series.
According to Variety, the podcast will be hosted by journalist Tim Kash and it will feature a wide variety of different guests every week until the final installment drops on May 27. The guest list includes showrunner Eric Kripke, as well as executive producers Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. We can also look forward to appearances by several of the cast members themselves. Naturally, most of the actual “Boys” (Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Laz Alonzo, and Karen Fukuhara) will show up to reflect on season 2.
Fans will also get to hear from Antony Starr (Homelander), Jessie T. Usher (A-Train), Chase Crawford (The Deep), and Aya Cash (Stormfront). The actors will detail their favorite moments from The Boys season 2, along with how they prepared for some of its key scenes.

Some of The Boys’ unsung behind-the-scenes heroes will pop in as well. Costume designer Laura Jean “LJ” Shannon will discuss how she created all of the supersuits that appear on the series. Additionally, Shannon will explain how she examines “the characters’ psychology and their backstory” in the earliest stages of her work.
Other guests include VFX supervisor Stephan Fleet and stunt coordinator Tig Fong, who will dissect several action set pieces. Fans can also expect breakdowns of the infamous whale scene, the explosive congressional hearing, and the “girls get it done” fight from the season finale.
The first two episodes of The Boys: The Official Podcast drop this Thursday, April 15.
