Disney+ Debuts New Poster For Marvel’s Loki Series

Loki may have died in the opening minutes of Avengers: Infinity War, but Endgame‘s time heist has given the God of Mischief a second chance. Later this year, Disney+’s Loki series will catch up with Tom Hiddleston’s fan-favorite rogue.  And this time, Loki may be in over his head.

Marvel Studios and Disney+ have dropped a new poster for Loki, which features its title character as a prisoner of the Time Variance Authority. In Marvel’s comic book universe, the TVA polices the multiverse. By unknowingly avoiding his own death, Loki may have inadvertently gotten their attention. However, we suspect that he will have the last laugh.

Owen Wilson co-stars in the series as Mobius M. Mobius, a key member of the TVA. Gugu Mbatha-Raw is also portraying a member of the TVA, but details about her character haven’t been revealed. Additionally, the cast includes Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant.

Marvel has kept the story under wraps, but we do know that Loki will revisit events in human history. Back in December, Kevin Feige called the series “a crime thriller.” But what’s the crime?

Kate Herron directed the Loki series, which features Michael Waldron as the lead writer. Disney+ will debut the first episode on Friday, June 11.
