Later this years, Snake Eyes is getting his own solo film. However, he may not be the only member of G.I. Joe to step into the spotlight. Deadline is reporting that Amazon is developing a G.I. Joe spinoff series focused on Lady Jaye.
Carnival Row showrunner Erik Oleson is slated to create and executive produce the Lady Jaye series, which will be produced by Paramount Television Studios, eOne and Skydance Television. According to Deadline, it “will be a standalone story centered around Jaye, which will also connect to the larger G.I. Joe universe.”
Lady Jaye was previously portrayed in live-action by Adrianne Palicki in G.I. Joe: Retaliation. However, it seems unlikely that Palicki will reprise her role if this is a reboot.

Within the G.I. Joe universe, Lady Jaye’s real name is Alison R. Hart-Burnett. Alison is a covert operative specialist with a gift for acting and impersonation. Those skills also served her well on the G.I. Joe team when she went undercover on several missions. She was first introduced in the original G.I. Joe animated series. Lady Jaye was subsequently introduced in the G.I. Joe comic and action figure line. She has remained a fixture of the franchise ever since.
Lorenzo DiBonaventura will also executive produce the potential Lady Jaye series.
