Warning: There are spoilers ahead for WandaVision episode 7!
Despite a flurry of internet rumors, there were no signs of Reed Richards or the Blue Marvel on this week’s WandaVision. However, there were some pretty significant answers. And it also had the show’s catchiest theme song to date. Disney+ has premiered the seventh episode of WandaVision, and we want to know what the Superhero Hype community thinks about it!
The morning after Halloween, Wanda wakes up in her “Sokovian fortune teller” while her twins, Billy and Tommy, notice that their video game console keeps skipping between older and current gaming generations. Additionally, the sitcom format shifts to a Modern Family/The Office style mockumentary. Even Wanda notices that her fake reality is breaking down, but she’s powerless to stop it. Wanda’s increasingly bleak mood also unnerves her children, even after Agnes drops by and offers to give Wanda some “me time.”
Meanwhile, Vision awakens near the circus that was once S.W.O.R.D.’s staging ground. He also finds Darcy transformed into an escape artist who initially wants nothing to do with him. But once Vision restores Darcy’s true self, she agrees to accompany him back to Wanda’s house.
Outside of the expanded Westview Hexagon, Director Hayward and his remaining S.W.O.R.D. agents plan their counterassault. Meanwhile, Monica and Jimmy meet up with renegade S.W.O.R.D. agents who supply them with a new vehicle to breach the barrier. However, even this proves to be ineffective. The only thing that can get into Westview is Monica herself. Somehow, she makes it through alive and finds herself greatly changed by the experience. Now, Monica can see the beyond visible light spectrum, much like her comic book counterpart.

As Darcy fills in Vision about the gaps in his memory, someone continuously puts obstacles in their way to keep them from reaching Wanda. Back at Wanda’s home, Monica’s sudden arrival angers and alarms Wanda. Monica attempts to warn Wanda that Hayward wants Vision back to use him as a weapon. But this simply makes Wanda angry, and she threatens to hurt her. Monica calls Wanda’s bluff and begins to get through to her. Regardless, Agnes intercepts Wanda and leads her back to Agnes’ home.
Shortly thereafter, Wanda realizes that her children are nowhere to be found. She also explores Agnes’ creepy basement and discovers a hidden lair. Agnes reveals that she is actually Agatha Harkness, a powerful witch from the Marvel comic book universe. However, this version of Agatha is apparently sinister. The show’s new theme song reveals that Agatha has been behind everything in Westview, even the death of Tommy and Billy’s dog, Sparky. She also created the fake Pietro/Quicksilver.
In the mid-credits scene, Monica tracks Wanda back to Agatha’s house. But Pietro intercepts her before she can enter.
WandaVision‘s first seven episodes are on Disney+. The eighth episode will debut on Friday, February 26.
