Warning: There are spoilers ahead for WandaVision episode 6!
Quicksilver is back in the MCU, but he looks a lot like his counterpart from the X-Men movieverse. Regardless, Wanda and Vision have much bigger problems in this week’s WandaVision. Disney+ has premiered the sixth episode of WandaVision, and we want to know what the Superhero Hype community thinks about it!
It’s Halloween in Westview, and Wanda’s wearing a costume that is very much like her classic Scarlet Witch outfit from the comics. Vision is also in a comic book throwback costume, which he explains as a nod to Wanda’s love for Lucha libre. Wanda also calls her outfit a “Sokovian fortune teller.” However, she’s distressed when Vision goes off script and says he’ll be on Neighborhood Watch instead of joining their sons Trick-or-treating. Instead, Pietro volunteers to accompany Wanda with Billy and Tommy. Pietro even gets his own comic book style costume.
During Halloween night, Tommy’s super speed power manifests as he and Billy cause mischief. Privately, Wanda tests Pietro’s memories because she isn’t sure about him. Pietro also reveals that he’s aware that she’s controlling the town. Wanda claims that she doesn’t know how it happened. She only remembers feeling an all-consuming grief. Meanwhile, Vision discovers that the people on the edge of town are frozen in place. He finds Agnes and briefly frees her from Wanda’s control. But he’s unnerved when she tells him that he’s dead.

Beyond the Westview hexagon, S.W.O.R.D. Director Hayward makes plans to mount another attack on Wanda. When Monica Rambeau, Jimmy Woo, and Darcy Lewis object to this, Hayward ejects them from the site. Instead of leaving quietly, Jimmy and Monica overpower their escorts. With Darcy’s help, they learn that Hayward has found a way to monitor the people inside of Westview. More specifically, Hayward is tracking Vision’s movements.
Monica’s associate contacts her about making a second attempt to breach the hexagon. However, Darcy warns Monica against another trip through the barrier because her body is changing from the previous trips through it. Darcy also opts to stay behind to discover what else Haywood is hiding. Shortly thereafter, Vision pushes through the hexagon barrier and makes it outside of Westview. But he soon begins to discorporate. When Darcy calls upon S.W.O.R.D. to help Vision, Hayward has her handcuffed to a car.
Inside of Westview, Billy’s powers manifest as he senses Vision’s distress. When Pietro jokes about Vision dying again, Wanda strikes him with a hex. She also expands the barrier to envelop Vision, Darcy, and the vast majority of the S.W.O.R.D. agents. Haywood’s vehicle narrowly escapes, but the rest of his forces have been transformed into a circus inside the new Westview boundary.
WandaVision‘s first six episodes are on Disney+. The seventh episode will debut on Friday, February 19.
