Netflix Posts the First 10 Minutes of Locke and Key

The first season of Netflix’s Locke and Key series will hit tonight at midnight. However, for those of you that don’t feel like waiting, a special sneak peek is now available. Netflix has premiered a look at the first ten minutes from the first episode of the series. It’s available below and provides a brief introduction to the Locke family. The episode is called “Welcome To Matheson,” and it was written by co-creator Joe Hill and Aron Eli Coleite.

This video includes a glimpse of what sets the show’s events in motion. Don’t worry, there’s still more than enough mystery to go through its whole season.

In Locke and Key, three younger Locke siblings, alongside their mother, move into a mysterious ancestral home. This comes after the death of their father, whose legacy is found throughout the house through special keys. As they learn what each key can do, they somehow awaken a dangerous demon who wants them for itself.

Meredith Averill and Carlton Cuse serve as showrunners for the series. Along with his co-writing duties, Hill is also on board as executive producer.  The series stars Jackson Robert Scott, Connor Jessup, and Emilia Jones as the Locke siblings, with Darby Stanchfield as their mother, Nina Locke. Sherri Saum, Griffin Gluck, and Laysla De Oliveira are also in the cast.

Locke and Key’s first season will debut on Feb. 7.
