Lucasfilm Drops Character Posters For The Mandalorian

As the premiere for the Star Wars series The Mandalorian gets closer, Lucasfilm dropped five new posters featuring official characters from the Disney+ series via the official Star Wars Twitter account. We’ve included all the images in the attached gallery, but here’s a rundown of the five characters featured in the posters.

First up is the Mandalorian himself, played by Pedro Pascal. A lone gunfighter and bounty hunter, the series will focus primarily on him. The second poster showcases Gina Carano’s Cara Dune, a former Rebel Shock Trooper turned mercenary. And she’s likely to join forces with the Mandalorian on his adventures.

We also get a good look at Carl Weathers’ Greef Carga, the leader of a local bounty hunting guild. According to early story details, he hires the Mandalorian to track down a yet unnamed item. There is also a full reveal of IG-11, a droid featuring the voice of Taika Waititi. This previous story confirms he’s an “innocent” robot, incapable of lying or sarcasm.

Then there’s the final character: a CG alien with an elderly appearance who is dressed like he’s ready to fly. We’re guessing that this character will be played by Nick Nolte. But that’s just speculation for now.

The cast of The Mandalorian also includes Giancarlo Esposito as former Empire governor Moff Gideon; Werner Herzog and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Ming-Na Wen in an undisclosed role.

The Mandalorian will hit Disney+ starting on November 12.
