When Emiko made her debut in Arrow, Oliver Queen thought that his half-sister was joining the family crime fighting business. However, Emiko has no interest in doing anything but destroying the Queen family and Oliver’s legacy. Oliver has tried to reach Emiko and turn her against the Ninth Circle. Unfortunately, Emiko passed up any chance for redemption by attempting to murder Team Arrow in last night’s episode.
In the Arrow episode 7.21 promo video, Team Arrow is trapped inside a devastated building and unable to find a way out. Meanwhile, Emiko is confronting her sister-in-law, Felicity. And Emiko looks all too eager to place a couple of arrows into Felicity just to make Oliver suffer. Note that the scene in question appears to take place inside Team Arrow’s headquarters. That begs the question of whether Emiko wants to steal from Oliver’s team, or if she simply wants to put an arrow into Felicity. Although Emily Bett Rickards is leaving the show; Felicity doesn’t have to escape unscathed. Last night’s episode also highly suggested that Emiko leaked the video of Roy Harper’s fatal assault on two officers. Once that gets out, Team Arrow’s time on the SCPD is over. And they may be fugitives again.

Thanks to the flash forward scenes, we know that Felicity survives the events of this story. However, this may also be a setup to explain why she won’t appear on the show anymore. Regardless, it appears to be a pivotal moment for her. There may be tragedy ahead, unless Team Arrow pulls off another escape;
Here’s the official description from The CW: “OLIVER IS PUT TO THE TEST — Oliver (Stephen Amell) finds himself in a precarious position. SCPD shows up with a warrant for Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards). Gordon Verheul directed the episode written by Oscar Balderrama & Sarah Tarkoff.”
