‘Bryan’ pointed us to ViewAskew.com, where Kevin Smith, who wrote The Green Hornet adaptation, has confirmed he’s no longer directing the film. Here are his comments:
– We can’t reference the Lone Ranger in the flick, because Miramax only has the rights to the Green Hornet, not the Lone Ranger.
– There is a third generation in the flick (well, second, since we can’t reference the first gen, the Lone Ranger)
Q: So, Mr. Smith – I am asking “Can I help you with the soundtrack”
I don’t know. You’ll have to ask whoever winds up directing. I pulled out months ago.
