Prime Video To Stream a Show More Brutal Than The Boys This Month

A highly-anticipated animated series is returning to Amazon Prime Video with a new season this month. Based on Robert Kirkman’s comic book series of the same name, the TV-MA-rated show featuring the voice of J.K. Simmons will pick up right after the events of the Season 3 finale, which came out in March 2025.

Here are all the details on the Prime Video animated show’s next installment’s release date.

Invincible Season 4 is very close to its streaming launch

Invincible Season 4 will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on March 18, 2026. The studio announced the date earlier this year with the official trailer. Similar to previous seasons, Season 4 will comprise eight episodes. The first three episodes will be available to stream on the same day, with the subsequent episodes premiering weekly.

Robert Kirkman and Simon Racioppa are returning as the showrunners. The new installment will adapt the Viltrumite War arc, following the fan-favorite characters during an intergalactic conflict between the Coalition of Planets and the Viltrum Empire. Based on the trailer, Mark Grayson, the titular hero, will team up with his villainous father, Omni-Man, to fight against the Viltrumites.

Invincible Season 4’s voice cast includes Steven Yeun, J.K. Simmons, Sandra Oh, Gillian Jacobs, Grey DeLisle, Seth Rogen, and Zazie Beetz, among others. Additionally, Matthew Rhys, Lee Pace, and Danai Gurira are the latest additions to the cast. They will be voicing Dinosaurus, Thragg, and Universa, respectively.

Since its debut on March 26, 2021, Invincible has received an overwhelmingly positive reception from both audiences and critics despite its violent and explicit themes. Across the first three seasons, the show has a 99% Tomatometer score and 92% Popcornmeter score on Rotten Tomatoes. It has also received two Primetime Emmy Award nominations.
