Nathan Fillion’s first look as Guy Gardner, AKA Green Lantern from the 2025 movie, Superman, has been revealed in the trailer and fans can’t stop discussing the wig he is sporting for the role. Guy Gardner is one of the most popular Green Lanterns among comic book readers. The character was introduced in Green Lantern #59 in 1968. It was announced in July 2023 that Gardner would appear in Superman and be played by Fillion.

With its debut on December 19, the teaser trailer of Superman, starring David Corenswet as the new Man of Steel for the rebooted DCU won the hearts of many fans online.
Although the trailer contained certain memorable moments, one scene that showcased Nathan Fillion’s Guy Gardner struck a chord with fans. Despite appearing for mere seconds in the trailer, his bowl cut, which is Gardner’s signature hairstyle in the comics, caught people’s attention.
The comic-accurate hairstyle ignited discussions online, as many fans came forward and expressed their joy with the decision to keep the bowl cut. However, apart from lauding the decision to go with the look, fans also seemed to joke about it.
