Mandalorian & Grogu’s Pedro Pascal Confirmed To Be On Star Wars Movie’s Set

In a recent development, a Mandalorian & Grogu stuntman seems to have confirmed that Pedro Pascal will appear in the upcoming Star Wars movie. The Chilean-American actor made his first Star Wars appearance in 2019 with the critically acclaimed series The Mandalorian. However, scheduling conflicts restricted him from returning to the role in person in 2021’s The Book of Boba Fett, which only featured a voiceover from Pascal. Despite such uncertainties, a recent Mandalorian & Grogu set reveal appears to have confirmed Pedro Pascal’s direct involvement with the film.

Pedro Pascal’s presence on The Mandalorian & Grogu’s set confirmed after past dispute rumors

Lateef Crowder, who serves as the stuntman for Pedro Pascal’s Din Djarin, took to social media to share some updates regarding The Mandalorian & Grogu with fans. In the process, he inadvertently disclosed Pascal’s presence on the movie’s set.

Crowder gave the update through an Instagram story, as reported by Mandoverse Updates. While driving to the film’s set, he posted a snippet of himself in the car with “Stretch good Papa!” written at the bottom. Crowder also tagged Pedro Pascal in the image, leading fans to speculate that the Last of Us actor might be stepping into his iconic suit for The Mandalorian & Grogu.

The reveal comes after much speculation surrounding Pascal’s busy schedule, causing many fans to wonder if he would be available for the upcoming Mandalorian film. Aside from not appearing in person in The Book of Boba Fett, Pedro Pascal did not don the suit for any major scene after The Mandalorian Season 2. Moreover, the actor’s commitment to Marvel’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps further dampened fans’ hopes for his return.

Nonetheless, the update from Lateef Crowder has seemingly confirmed that Pedro Pascal will feature as Din Djarin in the new movie after all. The Mandalorian & Grogu is currently slated to hit theaters on May 22, 2026.
