Marvel’s Loki Actor Gives Positive Update After Revealing He Was Homeless

Seveteen-year-old actor Jack Veal, arguably best known for portraying one of the variants of the eponymous character in the Marvel series Loki, gave a positive update about his present circumstances in a new TikTok video. He previously revealed that he was homeless in a post on the same platform.

Marvel’s Loki star Jack Veal says social services has called him to meet

Veal disclosed in his latest TikTok post that social services had reached out to him for an accommodation meeting. “I just got a call from social services saying they want a meeting with me tomorrow to essentially get me into foster care and supporting accommodations,” Veal said.

The MCU actor proceeded to thank the people who amplified his voice on social media and beyond. “I don’t know what you guys have done but it’s gotten out there and it’s really, really helped me,” he explained. “They’re taking action now. They’re actually doing something. So God bless you all. Thank you so much. I will let you how the meeting goes, but no promises. But this is the first time they’ve ever considered me for accommodation,” he further stated.

Earlier this week, Veal detailed his current situation in a post on the popular short video-sharing site. He stated he had a terrible upbringing and suffered emotional and physical abuse at home. Veal added, “I have autism, ADHD, and am being screened for bipolar and psychosis. I can’t stay at my grandparents’ because my granddad is terminally unwell. I have nowhere else to go, and I need help. Social services refuses to help me despite what I have told them. I am desperate.”

Veal disclosed that he had been “sleeping in the streets” and currently residing in a “trailer that has smashed-in windows.” Further, he asked people to “spread the message of how the government are treating kids.”

Besides Loki, Veal’s acting credits include My Name Is Lenny (2017) and The End of the F***ing World (2017).
