Actor Rhenzy Feliz, who plays the role of Victor Aguilar in DC’s The Penguin, recently touched upon the finale of the series. The Penguin’s finale has caught the audience by surprise since it aired on Sunday. In the final episode, fans witnessed Feliz’s Victor expressing his gratitude to Oz Cobbs for making him a part of his family. In return, Cobbs said, “I can’t take you with me this time. That’s the thing about family… it’s your strength. It drives you but makes you weak, too. I can’t have that no more. It’s too much.” He then proceeds to put an arm around Victor, who tightens his grip before passing away.

During an interaction with ComicBook.com, Feliz said, “When you view someone as family, it’s a strength like he says. And so I think he (Oz Cobbs) wants to become something almost impenetrable. And the way he thinks he can do that is [killing his weakness].”

Feliz further stated that the act committed by Cobbs was a step for him toward becoming invulnerable. “Everyone else, I think, sees it as ‘You don’t have to do this.’ He sees it as ‘The only way that I can be invulnerable is to snuff out this flame here.'”

Rhenzy Feliz also expressed his thoughts on whether the move made by Oz Cobbs in The Penguin finale was something that he’d anticipated. “I really don’t know, to be honest. I go back and forth and I think, in that moment, sometimes I think he (Cobbs) knew it from the moment when he takes me out to the river bank [that] he knows what he’s going to do. Then I really go back and forth.”
