Eventually, viewers witness Agatha taking on her Ghost form after sacrificing herself and decides to assist Billy on his journey to find Tommy.

Jac Schaeffer explains Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda wasn’t resurrected to be fair to Agatha

The showrunner was recently a guest for a spoiler-filled conversation regarding the miniseries.

In this interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Jac Schaeffer discussed how the makers of the show delivered the perfect ending. However, soon the conversation shifted to the cameos in the series. One of the cameos that fans enjoyed a lot was Evan Peters returning as Ralph Bohner. He is seen discussing his Hex trauma and helping Billy, AKA William Kaplan understand his origin.

Albeit, what viewers anticipated the most was Elizabeth Olsen’s appearance as Wanda in Agatha All Along. Yet, that is something that Schaeffer denied and stated that it was not part of the plans. The series did mention Wanda in the pilot episode by showing the body of Jane Doe, which was a heavy reference to her.

Additionally, the show made several references to the Scarlet Witch, but she did not appear. This, the creator revealed was a decision she made to keep the focus on Agatha.

Talking about Wanda’s absence, Schaeffer stated, “[Wanda’s resurrection] wasn’t really a for-real conversation, and to speak plainly, it’s a larger conversation of casting, logistics, availability, and budget. Also, to me, on a creative level, it didn’t feel fair to the character of Agatha. This is her story, and the idea of bringing Wanda back felt like it would upend that in a way.”
