Joe Locke Talks MCU Future, Key Agatha All Along Finale Moment

Joe Locke has been a major part of the hit Disney+ series Agatha All Along and recently opened up about his character’s big reveals in the final two episodes, as well as what his future in the MCU may hold.

Earlier in the season, Locke was finally revealed to be none other than Billy, a grown-up version of Wanda’s son from the Disney+ series WandaVision. As a result, that also makes him Wiccan, the magical Marvel Comics character who had been teased by Marvel Studios for some time.

The finale sees Locke finally getting to don the full Wiccan costume for the first time, showing off his potential future look while also giving fans the first real look at one of the most fan-favorite characters in all of Marvel. For Locke, it was just fun to wear a superhero costume and get to feel “cool” while on set.

“There’s nothing cooler than wearing the superhero costumes,” said Locke. “You walk in and you just feel cool. Everyone’s like looking at you, and your cape swishes. I just felt so cool.”

As for what the MCU might have in store for Wiccan in the future, Locke said that one character he thinks Billy could learn a lot from is Doctor Strange. The pair have a connection in the comics and Strange did play a big role in Wanda’s post-Avengers: Endgame storyline.

“I think Billy would learn a lot from Doctor Strange or someone,” Locke said. “He’s such a young magic person who knows what they’re doing. Obviously, in the comics, they have a connection. So I think that would be cool, but who knows?”

Wiccan’s place in the MCU has also been the stuff of rumors for some time. From things like a potential Young Avengers series to future projects involving Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda Maximoff, it’s unknown as of yet just what Locke’s Billy will be up to when he next appears.
