The quarrel between Ray Fisher and Warner Bros. takes a new turn. The actor recently returned to attack the mass media and entertainment conglomerate after reports about their plans to introduce a black Superman surfaced online.

Warner Bros. lost no time and released an official press release to Variety. According to them, the person charged with the investigation found no evidence of Walter Hamada interfering with it.
“Once again there are false statements being made about our executives and our company surrounding the recent Justice League investigation,” WarnerMedia said. “As we have stated before, an extensive and thorough third-party investigation was conducted. Our executives, including Walter Hamada, fully cooperated, no evidence was found of any interference whatsoever, and Warner Bros. did not lie in the press. It’s time to stop saying otherwise and move forward productively.”
On top of that, a former federal judge — hired to investigate Fisher’s accusations of misconduct to director Joss Whedon and producers Geoff Johns and Jon Berg on the Justice League set — stated that Hamada didn’t interfere with the investigations.
“I am disappointed by continued public statements made suggesting that Walter Hamada in any way interfered with the Justice League investigation. He did not,” Katherine B. Forrest said. “I interviewed him extensively on more than one occasion and specifically interviewed him concerning his very limited interaction with Mr. Fisher. I found Mr. Hamada credible and forthcoming. I concluded that he did nothing that impeded or interfered with the investigation.” She then added that the ‘useful’ information he provided “advanced the investigation.”

Shortly after Warner Bros.’ and Forrest’s statements, Fisher commented on Twitter, stressing that Hamada only attempted to interfere and pointing out that he actually never made it. The actor also pointed out that the investigator’s statement was a desperate move.

Walter Hamada ATTEMPTED to interfere with the JL investigation.
He was unsuccessful in doing so because I did not allow him to.
Having the investigator make a statement claiming there was no interference is purposely misleading and desperate.

The investigations involved many protagonists of 2017’s Justice League, including some cast members like Gal Gadot. Even though Warner Bros. never made the specifics public, they ended up with WarnerMedia’s claim that those responsible for misconduct received some punishment. Fisher then accused Hamada of having attempted to “undermine” the Justice League investigation, but he never went into details. Finally, the actor stated that he wouldn’t participate in any future production involving the American film executive and producer. However, he recently shot new scenes as Cyborg for Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
