An Edge Of Tomorrow Sequel Is In The Works at Warner Bros
Warner Bros. is finally working out an Edge Of Tomorrow sequel, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The studio has wanted to make a follow-up of the 2014 sci-fi movie for several years, and now Matthew Robinson is reportedly working on a script. Additionally, director Doug Liman and Tom Cruise are expected to get on board. Both of them have previously teased a sequel called Live Die Repeat and Repeat for some time in the past. Presumably, Emily Blunt will also be recruited to return.
Edge Of Tomorrow cast Crusie as Major William Cage, a public relations officer who finds himself caught in a time loop. Every time he dies, Cage awakens at the start of the day with his memories and experiences intact. Thanks to Blunt’s Sergeant Rita Vrataski, Gage becomes a formidable warrior and discovers how to attack the alien enemy.
