DC’s upcoming Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is currently in production, and an unofficial Twitter account not associated with the film, but bears the handle ‘BirdsofPreyDC‘ has been tweeting out a few photos from the set. Check them out below (via CBR)!
First up is a look at Huntress, played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead. She may be unmasked, but appears to be wearing her tactical gear.

Next up is a quartet of photos featuring Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn. She seems to be in the middle of relocating, as she’s carrying a box full of her personal belongings, including her trusty baseball bat she used throughout Suicide Squad.

Robbie also appears in the next batch alongside Ella Jay Basco’s Cassandra Cain. While Cain’s carrying a couple bags of groceries, Quinn’s carrying one giant sack of dog food, which is presumably to feed her pet hyenas. We’ll have to wait and see.

In addition to Robbie reprising her role as Harley Quinn, along with new editions Winstead as Huntress and Basco as Cassandra Cain. The film also stars Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary, Ewan McGregor as the villain Black Mask, Chris Messina as Victor Zsasz and Rosie Perez as Renee Montoya. Ali Wong (Fresh Off the Boat), Robert Catrini (American Crime Story), Steven Williams (IT) and Derek Wilson (Preacher) round out the ensemble.
In the DC Comics, the Birds of Prey are a mostly female superhero team has included Oracle/Batgirl, Black Canary, Huntress, Catwoman, Hawkgirl, Power Girl, Poison Ivy, Vixen, and Katana, who was played by Karen Fukuhara in Suicide Squad. A short-lived live action TV series titled Birds of Prey aired on The WB from 2002-to-2003 for 13 episodes, starring Ashley Scott as Huntress, Dina Meyer as Barbara Gordon/Oracle, Ian Abercrombie as Alfred Pennyworth and Mia Sara as Harley Quinn.
Birds of Prey is set to be released in theaters on February 7, 2020.
