DeWanda Wise has joined the cast of Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel in a supporting role, according to Variety. Wise plays the lead role in the Netflix series She’s Gotta Have It, which was recently picked up for a second season.
DeWanda Wise will join a Captain Marvel cast that includes Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, and Jude Law.
