New Thunderbolts* Trailer Shows Olga Kurylenko’s Taskmaster Suit

The first teaser trailer for Marvel’s much-anticipated Thunderbolts* movie has finally dropped, showcasing the ensemble cast teaming up for an unknown mission. However, what attracted attention most in the trailer were improvements to the suits of characters like Olga Kurylenko’s Taskmaster, who is returning to the MCU after the 2021 film Black Widow.

The recently released teaser trailer for Marvel’s Thunderbolts* has captivated audiences who are anticipating a thrilling ride to hit theaters in May 2025. Thunderbolts* brings together a group of misfits more popularly known as some of the biggest anti-heroes in the MCU for a dangerous mission. The trailer not only shows tensions between the characters but also hints at a bigger power that may be trying to eliminate them.

The trailer also debuts news suits for characters like Taskmaster and Ghost (last seen in the 2018’s Ant-Man and the Wasp). Teasing a first look at all the characters, fans can see David Harbour’s Red Guardian donning the same suit he wore in Black Widow, while Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova also sports the same costume. The teaser trailer sheds light on Sebastian Stan’s Bucky, whose long hair resembles the look he had in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Further, fans are re-introduced to Wyatt Russell’s US Agent John Walker, who carries the same vibe and suit from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

The changes fans witness are in the suits of Hannah John-Kamen’s Ghost and Olga Kurylenko’s Taskmaster. Following the events of Ant-Man 2, Ghost is now shown in the MCU with a black costume that covers her face with a white mask. The costume is not even close in appearance to her last suit, a further deviation from her male Marvel Comics counterpart. However, the lights of the mask do match the suit in the comics.

On the other hand, Taskmaster has had a complete makeover from her suit in Black Widow. Kurylenko’s Taskmaster is also seen in a black suit, however, she wears a white skull-shaped mask.

Fans are also introduced to Lewis Pullman’s Sentry, who is introduced as Bob in the teaser trailer. The clip shows no suit for Sentry but does drop a glimpse at Sentry’s emblem.

The movie is set to hit cinemas worldwide in May 2025, and fans can expect to come across more details in the upcoming months.
