Jurassic World Attacks the Winter Olympics in New TV Spot

In Jurassic World Dominion, dinosaurs now exist in the wild in the United States. For good or ill, the ecosystem changes forever. But can we learn to coexist? That might be tricky when about half of them want to eat us. A new cobranded spot for Jurassic World Dominion and the Winter Olympics demonstrates what this dangerous new world might look like in practicality.

Then again, it could create great motivation. Downhill skiers just might go a little faster with a velociraptor on their tail. Since they can run as fast as ATVs, canonically, out-speeding the creatures might be tough. But if you can lead one to a bigger carnivore, well, you might just be the survivor in a big reptile battle.

Back in December. director Colin Trevorrow indicated we’d see dinosaurs in many different environments. These include “wilderness, urban, desert, snow. It’s exciting to see these creatures navigate environments that they weren’t built to survive in. They grew up in a theme park and now they’re here!” While an Ice Age originally followed their extinction, this TV spot indicates they might get more lively in snow this time around. Although, just to clarify, this scene is most likely not considered canon.

Jurassic World Dominion opens June 10. Are you ready for it? Let us know in comments.
