Marvel Reveals When and Where the Next Shang-Chi Trailer Debuts

Marvel Studios will drop the trailer for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings in just a few hours. The producers have taken up to their socials to announce that they will release it during today’s NBA Countdown on ESPN (both Marvel Studios and ESPN are Disney’s intellectual properties). They also debuted a teaser for the trailer, featuring some fresh footage with the titular hero. Among other things, Shang-Chi will observe an explosion of water with much interest , he will attempt to get back on a running bus, and, most importantly, Tony Leung’s Wenwu dons the ten rings, unleashing their incredible power.

Destin Daniel Cretton directed the movie penned by Dave Callaham. Simu Liu leads the cast as Shang-Chi, with Awkwafina as Katy, Tony Leung as Wenwu (a.k.a. The Mandarin), Fala Chen as Jiang Li, Meng’er Zhang as Xialing, Florian Munteanu as Razor Fist, as well as Ronny Chieng as Jon Jon, and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan. Additionally, Dallas Liu has an undisclosed role in the upcoming movie.

According to the producers’ plan, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will hit theaters on Sept. 3.
