Dwayne Johnson Will Voice Krypto In DC League of Super-Pets Animated Film

While Dwayne Johnson is currently filming his first superhero movie, Black Adam, he’s already lined up his next DC Comics role. According to Deadline, Johnson has signed on to star in Warner Bros.’ upcoming animated film, DC League of Super-Pets. Johnson will provide the voice of Krypto, Superman’s loyal dog. Krypto has almost all of the Man of Steel’s powers, and above average intelligence for a canine. But he is still a dog.

Additionally, Johnson’s Seven Bucks production company will produce DC League of Super-Pets. As you may have gathered by the title, this flick will be aimed at younger audiences. In DC’s classic continuity, there were several Super-Pets, including Ace the Bat-hound, Streaky the Super Cat, Comet the Super Horse, and even the super-monkeys, Gleek and Beepo.
