The next trailer for Zack Snyder’s Justice League will arrive on February 14. Regardless, the director isn’t done teasing the upcoming footage. In a new post on Twitter, Snyder’s latest preview clip teases the introduction of Darkseid and the dark New Gods of Apokolips. Only Steppenwolf appeared in the theatrical version. However, the new scene features Darkseid flanked by DeSaad on the left and Granny Goodness on his right side.

Out of context, it’s hard to pinpoint where this scene takes place in the film. It might be a part of the “Knightmare” future glimpsed in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The Flash came back in time to warn Bruce Wayne about this dark timeline, which was apparently overrun by Darkseid’s forces. Joss Whedon’s reshoots also dropped Darkseid and the Knightmare sequence from the theatrical release. However, the new cut of the film is about four hours long and will restore many of the lost sequences.
Zack Snyder’s Justice League will hit HBO Max on March 18.
