DC FanDome Wonder Woman 1984 Trailer Finally Reveals Cheetah

Kicking off DC’s massive online FanDome event, Wonder Woman 1984 welcomed everyone back to the ’80s, with a new look at the villains who thrived there. No, not the Soviet Union: Maxwell Lord and Cheetah. And Patty Jenkins reassured as that despite the modern villain of COVID-19, they are determined to wait it out and show the movie in theaters. Discussing costumes, Pedro Pascal described Lord’s wardrobe as “horrifying power suits.” A few behind-the-scenes shots showed the cast goofing off between takes.

Venus Williams surprised the cast with a video question as to who would win a tennis match between Wonder Woman and Cheetah. Wiig said Cheetah definitely would, because Wonder Woman would have a gold tennis racket and it would be too heavy. Gadot replied, “Agree to disagree.”

Wiig described one of her favorite moments on set as a time during a stunt sequence when her wig got stuck in Gadot’s gauntlet and ripped Cheetah’s hair off. Pine’s was seeing all of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. cordoned off.

Lynda Carter made a surprise appearance with the final “fan” question. She revealed that when her daughter first saw Gal in costume, she told her mom, “I finally get it.” Gadot revealed she refers to Carter as “Mama Bear.”

And then the trailer, which reveals that Lord is offering people anything they want. Somehow he can grant hearts’ desires, which leads to Diana getting Steve back, and Barbara becoming Cheetah. We also get to see Steve do the stereotypical “trying on clothes” montage with a very ’80s flair. Diana and Steve fly a jet,a nd joke about whether it will be visible, which could be a hint.
