New Bill and Ted Face the Music Pic Brings the Daughters

Next summer, the Wyld Stallyns will make their righteous return to the big screen in Bill and Ted Face the Music. Fortunately for Bill and Ted, their daughters, Thea Preston and Billie Logan, are joining the time-travelling party.

Thea and Billie made their debut in the first pictures from the film, and a new pic was released today on the Bill and Ted Twitter account. It features the girls facing their fathers in a familiar garage.

Brigette Lundy-Paine (Atypical) portrays the daughter of Theodore “Ted” Logan (Keanu Reeves). Samara Weaving (Ready or Not) also stars as Thea, the daughter of William “Bill” S. Preston Esq. (Alex Winter).

However, the daughters aren’t just there for show, according to the film’s official synopsis:

The stakes are higher than ever for the time-traveling exploits of William ‘Bill’ S. Preston Esq. and Theodore ‘Ted’ Logan.  Yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, the now middle aged best friends set out on a new adventure when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it. Along the way, they will be helped by their daughters, a new batch of historical figures, and a few music legends – to seek the song that will set their world right and bring harmony in the universe.”

Bill and Ted Face the Music will hit theaters on August 21.
