Just like the Demon Corps in Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle, fans are wondering where Muzan Kibutsuji is hiding within the Infinity Castle. Following the aftermath of multiple major characters’ deaths, the movie hints at where Muzan is located. With still a long night in front of the Demon Slayers, the movie sets the stage for the final two movies.
Here’s what the movie hinted about Muzan’s location.
Where is Muzan hiding in Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 1?
In Demon Slayer Season 4 finale, “The Hashira Unite”, Muzan fell in Ubuyashiki’s trap. After the mansion blew up, Tamayo incapacitates Muzan using her Blood Demon Art and even thrusts her hand into his chest with the Anti-Kibutsuji drug.
This enabled Nakime, Upper Rank 4, to pull Muzan, Tamayo, and almost every Demon Slayer Corps member into her domain, the Infinity Castle. Since she can manipulate the place using her Blood Demon Art, she sent Muzan, with Tamayo still connected, to a place where the Hashira can’t find him easily. Even with Kagaya Ubuyashiki’s remaining kids using Kasugai Crows to surveil the castle with the help of Yushiro’s Blood Demon Art, they are having a hard time locating Muzan.
But when the final moments of Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle started to unfold, it hinted at Muzan’s location. It showed that Muzan was in the deepest part of the castle. He has created a cocoon using his Blood Demon Art, giving him time to regain his abilities and evolve into something more powerful. He’s slowly dissolving the medicine into his body and even adapting to it.
The movie ends with Nakime continuously changing the landscape of the Castle, creating layer upon layer, making it extremely hard to pinpoint his exact location.
In the upcoming movie, fans will finally get to see Kanao going up against Doma, the Upper Rank Two demon, who consumed Shinobu, the Insect Hashira. Meanwhile, the movie also showcased the remaining Hashira running around the Castle in search of Muzan. While Nakime and Kokushibo, Upper Rank One, are still alive, it remains to be seen which Hashira will face these demons.
