Boba Fett and Cad Bane Get Updated Hot Toys Incarnations

They’re no strangers to each other, or to us. But in The Book of Boba Fett, Boba Fett and Cad Bane got some upgraded looks. For Boba, refurbished armor and a black bodysuit differentiate his daimyo era. For Bane, the transition to live-action from animation required a change in proportions. Now Hot Toys has done them both up in their customary fancy treatment. With Bane, there’s even a deluxe version for $20 extra that also includes jet thrusters for his boots and robot sidekick Todo 360.

From the official Cad Bane description: “This Star Wars collectible figure features a newly developed head sculpt with astonishing likeness, meticulously tailored hat and outfit, wired long coat for a variety of posing, a pair of blaster pistols, a flamethrower effect, and a display base.” Bane also includes three different interchangeable facial expressions.

From the official Boba Fett description: “This Star Wars collectible figure features a newly developed Boba Fett helmet and armor, finely tailored under-suit, a jetpack, a blaster pistol, a blaster rifle, a gaffi stick, and a sand-themed figure base!” That ought to keep Anakin away, anyway. Notably not featured is an unmasked likeness or removable helmet — this Boba unofficially follows Mandalorian creed rules, in effect. Bane runs $270-$290; Boba, $275. Expect fulfillment sometime in the second half of next year.
