Michael Keaton’s performance as the Vulture in both Spider-Man Homecoming and the unfortunate Morbius post-credit scenes might have fooled new comics readers into thinking of Adrian Toomes as a good-looking guy in a cool mech suit. Classically, though, he’s an ugly old bald man who dresses like a bird. But no less dangerous to Spider-Man. Bugs, after all, often fall victim to birds. In the new Vulture diorama figure from Diamond Select, that aging buzzard gets a dynamic pose in his classic look. And it appears a run-in with a certain web-slinger still holds him back.
Here’s the official description: “From the skies he strikes! The Vulture, Adrian Toomes, attempts a high-altitude escape in the newest Marvel Gallery Diorama from DST! Based on his comic appearance, the Vulture displays his full wingspan as he struggles to free himself from Spider-Man’s webs. This approximately 10-inch PVC Diorama features detailed sculpting and articulation, and comes packaged in a full-color window box. Designed by Caesar, sculpted by Alterton!”
