Hot Toys’ Quarter-Scale Boba Fett Figure Makes a Big Bounty

With toy prices steadily going up across the board lately, quarter-scale figures just aren’t so common any more. Even NECA, the company that mastered them at retail, has cut back to just doing them in their wildly popular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles line. Hot Toys, however, has never particularly cared about price. They’re the company you go to to pay three grand for a sixth-scale vehicle, when authenticity matters more than a bargain. And they’re also doing a quarter-scale Boba Fett, because they’ve done pretty much every other version already.

Loaded with accessories like a flame blast, holograms of Slave I and Jabba’s palace, the figure can come with or without a deluxe light-up base resembling a chunk of the palace steps from The Book of Boba Fett. That’s a price difference of $625 versus $515, so think carefully about that base.

From the official description: “Based on the appearance of the character from The Book of Boba Fett, the highly-accurate quarter-scale figure stands approximately 45cm tall, featuring meticulously crafted armor and helmet, an interchangeable head sculpt with stunning likeness, specially tailored outfit, an attachable jetpack, blaster rifle, miniature holograms, and flamethrower effect.”

Stunning likeness indeed. Every pore on Temuera Morrison’s face gets represented:
