With the unfortunate news that Patrick Stewart is separating from his wife, E! Online does mention that he may be in talks for X-Men 3 already.
In addition to the Star Trek franchise, Stewart’s also made a name for himself as the X-Men’s Professor Charles Xavier in the series’ first two installments and is already in talks to star in X3, scheduled for a May 2006 release.
With Hugh Jackman on Broadway until late next year, this seems a bit early, but you never know. Thanks to ‘spiderken1’
